Changed my region from Netherlands to France, Brave says it still is not supported

Who is your verified custodian? Uphold

Are you in a supported region? Yes, France

I recently changed my account on Uphold from Netherlands to France.
However, when I try to link Brave rewards to this account, I keep getting the error that the region is not supported.
The error says the Uphold-account is registered in a country that is not supported, but France is supported (at least it says so on the list).
I already reset my brave settings, this did not solve it. What else can I try?

Did you only change your address or did you change everything? Keep in mind that the API designed by Uphold will report your country based on your passport. So if they have not replaced your Netherlands passport with one from France, then it will still tell Brave that you are in Netherlands.

The other thing, did you reset Rewards and choose France as your Rewards country?
