Can't send photos through Facebook messenger

I’ve tried sending screenshots and photos through Facebook messenger (via desktop) all morning since downloading Brave and they just never go through. Endless loading circle like it’s uploading. Nothing to do with size or photo, as I switched to Chrome and uploaded the same photos immediately.

@Wolfie305, thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Testing on my end I also see the infinitely spinning wheel. Turning Shields “off” will cause the site to perform as intended.

I’ll be filing this issue for the team to look at today if there isn’t one already filed and reply here with the link to the issue.
