That is strange that its not allowing any extension to install. Could you try creating a new user profile from the people button (next to the hamburger menu) . Add a new person and check if its allowing to install extension in that? I probably know what the answer is for this but are you able to in…

I tried your suggestion by trying in a new profile but i didn’t work. Yes i can install extensions in chrome and chromium browsers.
