Cannot use "W" anymore as shortcut to search in a specific site

The issue is related with the site search feature at brave://settings/searchEngines.

I set the lowercase letter “w” for Wiki. It worked over years until recent times.

Now, nothing happens when I type “w” (plus spacebar) in the address bar.

However it does work in Private and Tor modes.

I disabled all my extensions in Normal mode but “w” does not still work.

My other shortcuts still work whatever the mode. For instance, letter “c” works normally.

When I list all my site shortcuts in brave://settings/searchEngines , the “w” shortcut is disappeared.

If I decide to add the “w” letter, Brave refuses and says invalid.

This is working for me just fine. If you use something else for Wikipedia – for example, try using :w, does this shortcut work?

:w does work.

I realize that my issue is specific to my PC. Brave on my secondary PC does not have the issue despite data synchronisation activated for bookmarks, settings, history and extensions.
