Seems every time I revisit a site I use frequently, I have to “allow” again, everything I need for the site to function. Haven’t been able to find a friends’ list option. Is there any such thing?

Do you happen to have clear browsing data on exit enabled under brave://settings/clearBrowserData?
Yes. Isn’t that always recommended? Seems everyone recommends that and disable java and everyone still uses that data and java so I always feel as if I’m chasing my tail.
I’m guessing you’re telling me there is no “friends” list and I have to keep my history forever to avoid having to reset?

If you want it, it’s OK to have it enabled. With this settings enabled, Brave will clear selected data everytime you quit Brave.
If you want to retain some site settings, you can un-choose/disable Site settings from the option.
You still able to enable other options.
