Can we add the vivaldi sidebar to brave

Can we add the vivaldi sidebar to brave. I just downloaded brave beta and noticed that they add an sidebar to the left that kinda looked like the one in vivaldi I tryed it and found out its more like and bookmark thing. But can we change it so it will open a little side pop up thing like in vivaldi
