Can’t access some configuration web interfaces in my network

Description of the issue: Can’t access some configuration web interfaces in my network.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Connect Macbook to network and try to access web UIs in this network

  2. This will fail for some of them

  3. Use Safari on the same Macbook for the same web UIs

  4. This will work

  5. Connect Linux workstation to same network and try to access web UIs in this network using Brave

  6. This as well will work

Expected result: All web UIs should work on both machines using Brave

Brave Version:
Linux:
Brave 1.80.124 (Official Build) (64-bit)

MacOS: Brave 1.80.120 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

I had quite a weird experience and I hope someone might be able to help me:

I was in the process of setting up the firewall in my homelab, in which I run a management network, from which all the configuration web interfaces of the various systems (AP, switches, firewall) are accessible. I did the bulk of configuring on my Linux workstation, which is way more comfortable to use. But I’ve connected my MacBook, using a RJ45-to-USB-C dongle, directly to the management network, in order to help out, should I make a mistake and something become unreachable from outside of the management network.

There I’ve discovered that for some reason Brave (on the MacBook) was unable to access some of the web interfaces. For the non-working web interfaces it would always show an ERR_NETWORK_UNREACHABLE, while ping would work. First I thought I made mistakes when setting up my rules. But when I disconnected the MacBook and connected the very same cable to my Linux workstation, while the same firewall rules were running as before, I would be able to access all the management web UIs without problems.

Also if I would use Safari instead of Brave, I am be able to access the UIs. That makes me think that Brave is causing the problem. I am kinda clueless, and maybe someone here has an idea. Thanks!

So no one with a hint of an idea regarding this problem?
