So I just updated and noticed a couple small bugs and/or some feedback in general…
Top Sites was automatically changed from Favorites to Frequently Visited.
(easily fixed but was not what I wanted and was confused for a moment, thinking it started syncing with Mobile Favorites).
Colors changed to a custom color, not a default template.
(again easily fixed but annoying again and strange it was set to a custom color)
Bookmarks Bar Folder Icons are larger (too large) than before.
(I had them well aligned to fit perfectly on the bar, now some are pushed off into the >> it’s understanable if you want to change the look of them but if you could make them smaller that would be great.)
Just updated myself and did not get this behavior. Not entirely clear why it happened but I’d wager it’s a one-off issue. If it happens again when the next update lands let us know.
Same here – was using dark theme with default color template and was using the same after the update. As before if this occurs again after the next update lands definitely let us know.
Yes this change was intentional. Feedback that the icon could stand to be a bit smaller is good – we’ll wait for more feedback on this design change (of which I’m sure they’ll be tons) from other users.

The Top Sites switch happened on EVERY profile.
The Color/theme change seems to have ONLY happened on the DEFAULT Profile.
and yeah, I did see the Folder Icon change was intentional, just yeah, a bit big for more liking… that was obviously more feedback than bug reporting (I probably could have worded it better)
Also I’m on MacBook M3 Pro on Sequoia 15.7.1 in case it comes up again… not that these are huge issues (no pun intended with the Bookmark Folder Icons )…
Of course, easy enough to just switch back but I don’t know why it reverted. Will watch to see if it happens again but for now it’s seeming to be just a one off thing
After updating to 1.84.132, in my Facebook browser, I cannot edit the video I want to upload or share a post in my group. Other chromium or Firefox is working fine.
We will not be doing that – you’re welcome to leave your feedback about the design in your own thread though. I’ll make sure to have the team take a look.
So people want yellow folders not clear ones
(I use Dark theme so I believe they were Gray, I care less about the look though.
However, as I noted briefly that the Icons are too LARGE for my liking, I thought I might expand (I’m more FUNCTION over fashion, in this case)…
What I mean to say is that the SPACING could be smaller between the folders as they appear now, there’s a lot of empty space between the END of a bookmark and the BEGINNING of the NEXT bookmark. I THINK that’s what the difference is, that’s been made, that pushed my extra bookmarks off into the >> extras menu.
So, I was wondering if you’d be willing to bring that to the Brave developers via GitHub if you understand what I’m saying and/or if you’d like me to create another Topic here for a Feature Request to see what other people might think of that to see via votes? …
I think in THIS instance it wouldn’t take much to adjust this for the developers (though I’m not a developer so I don’t know for certain).
I also don’t have a GitHub account and figured if it came from you it would be taken a bit more seriously.

I’m having the same issue with “Top Sites” as well.
But more importantly, my Dashboard is now broken again…
I use Brave on both my laptop and my desktop PC, and the Dashboard is the feature that really made me switch to Brave in the first place.
Until now, it worked perfectly on my desktop, while I was having issues with it on the laptop. I had tried several fixes, but they only worked temporarily ; so I was really waiting for an update to finally solve it.
Unfortunately, after this latest update, the Dashboard is now broken on both machines, and no matter what I try, nothing seems to fix it anymore.
From what I can tell, Dashboard issues have been around for years now. As amazing as this feature is, it still feels more like a beta feature than a stable one.
