Browser Tab refreshes itself everytime when using youtube

Description of the issue: The brave browser tab refreshes automatically when using youtube. It happens either when i keep youtube open tab idle for a long time on screen, then when i log back in on my pc and brave appears it refreshes the tab. Or it happens when i have opened multiple tabs and in one of the tabs i am watching youtube, if i switch to some other tab and then get back to the youtube open tab after a moment it refreshes itself. Its frustrating. Due to this i cannot work and code at the same time. It even happens when i switch to some other application, for eg vs code and then switch to brave back. This is happening especially and only on youtube open tabs. I have been using brave browser for 3 years but it never happend before, and recently it has become way too much. Please resolve this issue.

Possibly, you need to clear cache, cookies . . . in a Brave Browser New Window, go to: brave://settings/clearBrowserData and for Time range set All time

Also, in a Brave Browser New Window, go to: brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com and click the Reset permissions button.

Exit / Quit everything and Restart your computer. And test your issue.

Test “normal” / “regular” / “standard” ( ← all the same, but browser users are not settled on which term to use ) Brave Browser windows vs. “private” windows. (If “private” window gets good results, then you might have an extension issue.)

You might create an additional Brave Browser user Profile for test purposes. If good results, then your issue is probably in your present user Profile.
