Description of the issue: Browser is not loading JavaScript for any site.

Brave Version( check About Brave): v1.93.129

I have been using Brave for a few years. This problem appeared overnight, right after the update. I looked up a bit on how I could resolve this, some people saying to turn on JavaScript - that was never, and it not currently disabled, in my settings. Not by default, not in my shields, not on any specific website.
I’ve looked through the posts here and the only person that shared my problem got the post closed in 30 days without resolution :')

Test: Brave Browser > Settings > More Tools > Guest profile

Guest profile seems to have JavaScript
So now how do we get this on my profile?

DISABLE all extensions that you have added to your “my profile”.

I suspect, that you need to use a Brave Browser New Window (not Private Window) and go to: ‘brave://settings/content/all’

There, click the “Delete all data” button -OR- click the trash can icons per troublesome sites -OR- just test that on a couple troublesome sites.

Also, for now, DISABLE the “Block scripts” selection at ‘brave://settings/shields’

Then Exit / Quit everything and Restart computer.

Try that, first.

I had a theory when you mentioned extensions and disabled NoScript. I already had the settings for it turned off by default, I guess something about it was going awry. Disabling it fixed everything.

Check brave://extensions. In my case, Brave suddenly had duplicated uBlock Origin and NoScript extensions installed (the active copies were labeled “Brave hosted”). Disabling/removing those extensions immediately restored JavaScript functionality across all websites after restarting the browser.
