yep, same here, ended up having to switch to chrome to search the solution.
crash logs have been reported and can confirm that turning off bookmark sync (which has never worked very well anyway, keeps replacing deleted bookmarks from other browsers, instead of syncing the deletion) has stopped the crashes for now
I’ve had a dozen crashes in the last 36 hours on Mac (OSX 10.14.6), with increasing frequency. (Most of the crash data has been sent in.) I see here that disabling sync should help, but I’m already gone; life’s too short for software that crashes this much. Also, it would take forever to clean up my bookmarks, which seem to have multiplied endlessly.
I need some help on disabling synchronization because when i press sync it just goes to the create one or join one

I have the same problem with my Mac
This thing is crazy, I get it on all devices non-stop.
Stopping sync works.
But bookmarks are all duplicated everywhere… When you fix that, please, pretty please, provide a way to de-duplicate bookmarks as it will be a nightmare!

Also crashes now for me - i have no sync chain enabled btw (Windows 10) pretty often (too a point where it is nearly unusable unfortunately) - latest crash: Uploaded Crash Report ID 8d5a6d263a757cbe
It mainly seems to happen on youtube when clicking a recommended video (immediately crashing the whole browser!!)
This never happend in native chrome (maximum was a crashed tab which was a much smaller problem tbh), also never happend in brave until September 17 ( 6c34f5ca5633d4fe)
Same here, Windows and Mac OS.

I use Windows 8.1 Enterprise at work. Since today (23rd September, 2019), brave keeps crashing within 30-60 seconds of load time. I am using brave version:
Version 0.68.140 Chromium: 77.0.3865.90 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Brave used to crash every now and then, but today it has been acting ridiculously. I had to download another browser to get work done. 
I came home and saw Brave browser was open in my computer. I rarely turn the computer off; so it just goes to sleep. The home browser is synchronized to the work computer. Maybe this was the reason for the crash.
I will make sure the browser is closed at home, and hopefully, the browser will function at work.

Any news from the team on this? Such an issue is hard on the trust users put in the browser. Especially when it’s already difficult to get a team to move to Brave, and days go by.
Can you give some sort of visibility so this issue can be managed as an IT team manager?

Crashes are now happening on all my machines with the following version:
Version 0.68.140 Chromium: 77.0.3865.90 (Official Build) (64-bit)
i did not have sync active, as it never worked as intended and i always ended up in duplicate bookmarks.
I activated now crash reports sending for all my computers and you will receive around 90 crash reports.
The issue happens 90% of cases on youtube and google search.
The most frequent way to reproduce it is when i am doing the following:
- open 2 browser tabs in separate windows.
- both are on youtube (one is at the home screen where you see recommendations) the otherone plays a video.
- click on the youtube tab that shows the recommendations multiple times on the youtube logo (creates a page refresh and loads the latest recommendations).
- doing this procedure over and over again my browser (brave) crashes (NO SYNC ACTIVE)
sometimes it takes 5min sometimes it takes 20min to crash… and it crashes at the point when i click on the youtube logo at the top left corner.
Hope this helps you, currently i have to switch to chrome again, as it is currently too annoying and there is no timeline / estimation or even an answer that someone is working on it.
PS: Yes i did just register to post this, that should show how bad those crashes are and how often.
