Description of the issue:
When opening a live stream on youtube, the browser crashes just before the contents of the chat panel load.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):
1. Launch Brave**
2.** Visit youtube.com**
3.** Open a live stream

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Browser crashes (Cant close or minimize chat in time to prevent.)

Expected Result:
Should be able to view livestream.

Reproduces how often:
Always

Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Brave 1.83.118 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):
Yes

Additional information:
Im using Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.2

Updated Brave just two hours ago.

Have restarted and there are no experimental features enabled.

I see similar behavior after upgrade. Brave crashes on any video playback after several secods with SIGILL (illegal instruction trap). The latest crash

Its showing zero. Ive restarted a few times re-enabling this and trying again but still no result of the crash. Brave recognizes it closed unexpectedly though.

Installed Brave through flatpak. Now, I’m gettting the following errors in syslog:

The buffer errors repeat until Too Many Open files error.

I will try to build Brave from sources and pinpoint the problem tomorrow.

OK. I built Brave Browser (1.83.0 Chromium: 141.0.7390.108 (Developer Build) (64-bit)) from source and no issues aside of mmap failures above. No crashes occur. This seems to me like a release build issue. Maybe some binary incompatibility in libraries used by Media.

What would be the way triage the issue?
