It does show in appwiz.cpl, and it did all along.
One point I should have mentioned is that, after installing the registry keys, it didn’t work at first, even after a reboot as you suggested. I checked the startup types on the 3 entries in services and 2 of them were set to manual. I changed them to automatic and that’s when it worked.
