Brave typing wrong characters

Description of the issue:
I am trying to write ç using ’ + c, but instead it gives me ć (which only happens with Brave)

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave
  2. Write ’ + c anywhere
  3. Gets ć instead of ç

Expected result:
Typing ’ + c gives ç

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.77.97 Chromium: 135.0.7049.84 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
I am using Linux, installed Brave with snap

Hm, I’ve not seen that before. I wonder whether it’s a Snap-specific bug.

Are you able to test with the native Ubuntu packages from https://brave.com/linux/?
