Hello, when i click on starting a premium call it comes up with the message ‘Forbidden’. Didnt have this problem before and was using it fine. I changed nothing that I can perceive. Apart from updating the mullvad VPN today…would this have a connection?
Sorry for the delayed response, I had to travel. Well, it all of a sudden worked. Not sure why. So, I dont have any evidence like a screenshot but if/when it happens again I will make sure I have one.
Sorry for the late reply here, it’s been a busy week.
I honestly have never seen this before. I’ve asked a couple team members if they have and what it typically means (and why the messaging does not have more details).
Thank you Mattches. And also the microphone doesnt work, meaning: the people i connect with cant hear me, I can hear hear them, I can see them and they can see me but not hear me.
To be honest its a bit disappointing. I hope there is a solution.
You can add a new user profile in Brave Browser to create an isolated environment for testing Brave Talk performance separately from your existing data.
Creating a new profile provides a clean slate, allowing you to compare performance without interference from your primary profile’s configuration.
Brave Browser (Menu --> More tools --> Add profile). When creating:
Make no appearance adjustments other than to set user profile color at brave://settings/manageProfile.
Do not import anything.
Do not add any extensions.
Do not make any adjustments to content filtering at brave://settings/shields/filters.
Do not allow/enable any Brave Browser “bells and whistles” such as Brave Rewards, … Except Brave Talk ← ALLOW THAT.
After you create that new user profile, Exit / Quit everything and Restart the computer … and then start up Brave Browser and choose the new user profile for testing your issue.
