I use just about every video chat platform out there based on who is scheduling the meeting. When I schedule, I always use Brave Talk. There is one issue I continue to have with Talk that I do not have with any of the others. The quality of the background images. In Brave Talk backgrounds are truly awful with an inability to define me over the background and maintain a consistent background. I do not have this issue with any other video platform so I know it is not me or my equipment. I just upgraded my camera in hopes that would help. It didn’t have any impact on the quality.
Is this a known issue and being worked on or is this a setting I haven’t been able to find that I need to change(I have looked extensively)?
@jjones unfortunately I don’t have a lot to update you on here. I can ask some of the other team members whether or not/when we plan on improving the bg quality but I imagine it’s not super high up on the priority list at this time (not that it won’t ever be done or isn’t important at all).
I, too, would like this to be added to the list. I want very much to move away from Meets if possible, but the bleed-through on my virtual images is unacceptable now that I’m trying to build a business.
