having the same problem here today. never had a problem with brave and this is why i Love this Browser :). I also want to mention that other sites have a lot of ads also now appear and not getting blocked… i have the newest version of brave and are sitting on W11 OS. Hope it is just a bug and that it will be a new update that fix this issue .

I updated the component you mentioned and the adblocker works again.
I get a couple frames of an ad at the start, but one can live with that.

I do not believe any ad blocker will prevent YouTube from playing ad videos. It is YouTube’s way of forcing us to pay for their premium offering.
Well, i`m glad to report this fix works and blocks all ads on youtube again.

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I’m still getting ads on youtube. My brave browser is fully updated to the latest build and I’ve checked for updates of all components at brave://components. Is there anything else I can do?
It just started happening again today for me. I’ve not changed any settings or done anything differently than when I shut down my machine earlier today.
It seems ok again. Weird blip.
If it happens again,
- clear cookies and cache, then relogin. And re-test YT.
- Ensure shields is up
- Also test in private window mode.
