Brave shields not working anywhere - ads everywhere

  1. Make sure Brave is up-to-date (I know Shaun1 has it updated, so you’re good, but just like to mention)
  2. Go to brave://components and make sure it’s all updated

If you go to brave://components and you get an update error and it shows something like 0.0.0.0 or whatever for the version, then check out Github comments below:

And also, guess keep in mind the reply in my screenshot below. In a sense is an issue that has been happening to people lately and they don’t know why. But at least they are saying launching as admin just is more likely to cause the problem or potentially make things worse:
