Brave search crashing when typing with fctix5 input in chinese

Description of the issue:

Since updating brave few days ago, brave would crash when i trying to type some Chinese in search bar. More specifically, after i type a word and confirm to change it into Chinese, brave would stop and can not do any operation on it. After few seconds, it crash. However, the search bar works if i type in English.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. open a new page and input some Chinese with fcitx5 (both array30 and rime) in search bar

  2. press enter or space to turn letters into Chinese and then crash

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.82.166

Additional Information:

I downloaded Brave via flatpak and have updated it into the latest version.

I can confirm I’m experiencing the same issue.

Using fcitx5 + rime input method, Brave freezes for a few seconds and then crashes whenever I try to enter Chinese in the address/search bar. Typing in English works normally.
