# Brave reward - Unsupported region

**Briefly describe your issue:**

When clicking the “Unverified” button on the brave reward widget / interface, and following through the steps using uphold wallets, I get an “Region unsupported error” message after completing the user story.

**What Operating System and Brave version are you using (`Menu --> About Brave`)?**

I am on Windows 10, Brave v1.41.100,

**Is your browser wallet currently verified? (yes/no)**

No

**What date did you verify your wallet?**

Today, the 28th of July at 23:00 pm CEST

**Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?**

No, as it is my first month using brave.

**Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)**

No. I used one to try and see if it solved the issue, unsuccessfully.

**Are you in a supported region ([see here](https://brave.com/transparency) for list of supported regions)?**

Yes. I am taxed and living in one of the supported countries.

However, the only mismatch is my nationality if I relate to the following post, yet I still live and taxed in a supported country in that following post:

**Does your device pass the [SafteyNet](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.freeandroidtools.safetynettest&hl=en_US&gl=US) check (Android only)?**

Yes (Windows 10)

**Have you manually turned off Auto-contribute on all of your devices linked to Uphold??**

I have manually turned off auto-contribute, but I am not linked anywhere so far.

Do you have Unsupported Region nightmares?!

The free help you provide here is immeasurable. I am just a casual Brave user and even I recognize your daily efforts. I hope you have some snippets of text saved addressing this so you can just copy and paste instead of retyping the same answer hundreds of times.

Thank you for pushing the full read and your time. Indeed, it seems like at this moment in time, uphold is on pause for all users everywhere. Hopefully, this gets resolved soon !
