I’m having an issue installing PWA apps using Brave (1.93.134) on Ubuntu 26.04. I tried installing Proton Calendar and Teams as PWA but it does not show as an app in the system. The only way to run the app is through brave://apps, which is not easier than using plain website.
Installing the PWA creates a file on my desktop, which I’ve set it to “Allow Launch”, but it still does not run the app.
I though I could Pin it to Dock, but it’s not an option either - the app is stacked with Brave browser and I can only pin the Browser, not the PWA app itself:
Chrome browser is able to add the Proton Calendar PWA app as system app with its own icon, which can be launched from “All Apps” system menu. I believe there is a bug in PWA support.
