Brave not working with contact in Yahoo! Mail on desktop

Description of the issue:
Windows 10, mail.yahoo.com - Brave will not save or delete new contacts.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Click the Contacts icon on the upper right side of the page
  2. Click the Contact and the … menu button
  3. Click Remove Contact…and nothing happens.

Expected result:
The contact should be removed, but there is no response to clicking Remove Contact. The feature works properly in Chrome, but not Brave

Brave Version( check About Brave):
V1.19.88 (Jan 28, 2021)

I got it to save new info for an existing contact and was ablt to save a new contact, but removing contact does nothing as stated earlier…

Edi: deleting contact does work if turnig off shields though

edit 2: You just have to adjust trackers & ads to allow all and deleting worked for me…

Thanks for the answer. I turned off the shields and it worked fine.

I’ll take a look, I suspect the element is being shared with the Anti-adblock message yahoo shows. I’ll update this thread when I have a firm fix.

Removed filter. this will fix it, give it 24-48hrs.
