Brave not listed as default browser…how to use?

I don’t have a choice for Brave to be my default browser on either my ipad or android phone. How can I get it?

Type default in the android/ipad settings search bar. It will open a settings menu listed as default apps, in it change your default browser.

I did that. Nothing comes up on iPad where I can add defaults.

This option is available in the browser — however:
On iOS

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Scroll down to the apps list and tap Brave
  3. Here, select Default browser app and select Brave.

On Android

  1. Go to Settings —> Apps
  2. Then Default apps --> Browser app
  3. Select Brave
