Yeah so the short of this is that Apple required Brave to remove offline playback for Playlist on iOS in order to remain on the App Store. I believe their justification is that downloading user’s content and/or potentially copyrighted content violates something in their ToS.
We’re currently appealing Apple’s decision and hope that we’ll be able to restore this functionality to Playlist in the future.
