Brave keeps crashing and is getting worse

I’ll give it a try, and post here if that works, but it sounds like I’ll just be postponing the inevitable. I wonder why I keep getting prompts that say I can no longer update Brave?

Okay it did install (the current version)… and it launched this time. But… I still have the same problem. It crashed about 5 minutes later.
