Brave getting slower and slower with each Windows 10 Updates for Older Machines

Hello. I collect laptops as a hobby and i have a main machine that’s from 2013 that I use as my primary unit for gaming and i usually like to have another machine on the side for other things while gaming (Facebook, Youtube etc) and a lot of them are older machines (going all the way back to 2007, ex; Acer Aspire 7741z, HP G72 to name a couple). For Brave, My primary unit runs fantastic. No issues. But these older machines seem to be getting worse and worse with every windows cumulative update (Which Brave MAY be updating after those updates happen, not sure). It’s strange because this seemed to have started this year back in April. Before April those older units ran just fine. Its also strange that my primary unit 9and some other units almost as strong) is only a little younger than those other machines and it still runs Brave way better. I understand these machines are old, but like, why all of a sudden is this happening? Back in June this year I seen a potential fix for this so I went to brave://flags/ and for choose angle backend i selected D3D11 and it seemed to work for those older machines. But now none of those options work! Is there anything else i can do for them or is this just the new norm now? Its crazy how these machines ran good in March this year, but April they go slow all of a sudden. And now after this last updates its even worse than the last with the lagging. Ive tried turning off Graphics acceleration, turning off smooth scrolling, setting all the flags to default. I have no extensions running and each machine has at least 8GB of ram. My main rig is an Alienware m18x r2 with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080, intel core I7-3940xm OC 4.9 ghz, 32gb ram 1866 mhz. So this is an old machine, and its not like Brave is using 3080, its using the Intel HD graphics 4000 which is very old, yet still runs Brave very good. What can I do to help them work better? If i can lol?
