Brave disconnects me from youtube and only youtube when closing the web browser

when I close the browser brave disconects me from youtube, this is not a cookie problem from the settings because I didn’t touch it, I just installed it, and it’s not the first time brave do that to me it’s a bug ig, but its making me mad help pls i dont want another browser i dont want to go back to edge!!

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to the On exit tab at:

  • brave://settings/clearBrowserData

DISABLE:

  • Cookies and other site data

Click Save

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to:

  • brave://settings/clearBrowserData Advanced tab

Time range: All time

ENABLE:

  • Browsing history
  • Download history
  • Cookies and other site data
  • Cached images and files

Click Clear data

4 Steps . . .

  1. Visit https://www.youtube.com
  2. Click the “tune” icon to the left of the https in the URL address field
  3. Click Site settings → Delete data
  4. Refresh the webpage

Tune icon: Tune_button_left_offset_of_URL_address_field

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to:

brave://settings/content/javascript

Scroll down that javascript settings page to Allowed to use javascript

Click the Add button

Enter [*.]google.com as the site . . . but do not Enable the following:

  • Current Private session only

Click the Add button

Repeat for the following ‘Google ecosystem’ domains:

  • [*.]googleapis.com
  • [*.]googlevideo.com
  • [*.]googleusercontent.com
  • [*.]gstatic.com
  • [*.]youtube.com

Exit / Quit BB. Restart computer. Test.

I get logged out of google after closing brave
