Realizing how they did it, I can only say one thing: Sell your BAT tokens unless you think a miracle will happen and this business model will survive.
It’s not just surviving, it’s going to thrive. It’s been interesting to watch the growth. I’m also aware of the things that are coming. Unfortunately there’s a lot of people who came in and had the wrong expectations, treating Brave and it’s programs like it’s something that has existed before. In order to understand and appreciate everything, you need to come in with no preconceived notions.
Also, look at how you went from saying cut off with no warning or information, but then I was able to verify that’s no the case. What you received was the warning and information. And, as stated, they’ve been announcing and explaining changes since July when they started restricting countries.
We can all agree that Brave doesn’t communicate as well and thoroughly as they should. It’s an area where their Support really needs to expand on in a variety of ways. Yet nothing they have done has been immoral, illegal, or wronged people in any way. It’s just been frustrating and a bit of an inconvenience if you’re in an affected area.
Also, if you need to have a crash course on how everything with Brave works, perhaps we may have to talk more in-depth. I’m still remembering false claims of yours, such as:
Because Brave doesn’t serve ads on your website and doesn’t earn anything from you except from what comes in tips. That 5% of everything tipped goes to Brave, much of which goes to gas and transaction fees, but there’s some “profit.” Of course, they can’t earn that if they don’t let you be a Verified creator and aren’t having tips come to you.
Let me answer this way: To my knowledge, Vietnam has been separated since January and nobody has been able to link or earn. If you’ve had an existing Creators connected to Uphold this entire time and you’ve been able to receive payments, then yes, you’ll get your last payment now.
If you’re asking if you can connect to it now, then the answer is no. You’re still not in a supported region and no new connections would be allowed. This bit I shared just states anyone who was currently linked/connected to Uphold or Gemini with their Creators will receive this last payment. But since the last announcement, no new earnings will arrive until regions are supported again.
I don’t think you are right here. I doubt very much that anyone would tip me especially not on a local website I run here, no one knows about Brave or tipping. I am 99.99% sure this is from ads. See attached pic.
It’s probably from Auto-contribution, which to my knowledge is on by default in new installations.
