It started to crash after opening today and I found this fix worked for me:

I am having the same issue, Brave instantly crashes when I click the brave icon. I am using Windows 11
That did not work for me. I have deleted/reinstalled the latest version, still no fix. However, the Beta version seems to work fine.

The team has released a fix for this issue that is now available in the latest update — please update Brave to version 1.57.49 and launch your main/default profile and ensure that the browser does not crash.

I’ve got the issue and I’m on macOS I’ve just downloaded the latest Mac build and it is still version v1.57.47.
Is there no fix for Mac users?

The issue in question here I believe was specific to Windows. Can you please open a new thread with all the information relevant to your crash?

It’s not Windows specific but I’ve reported it under macOS too
