Description of the issue:
Brave mysteriously crashes when it’s named “brave.exe”
How can this issue be reproduced?
1.Open Brave
2.Wait less than 30 ms
Expected result:
Brave shouldn’t crash using the original name for the executable
Brave Version( check About Brave):
v1.76.74
Additional Information:
I can use Brave when naming the executable everything BUT “brave.exe”
I use Windows 11 Enterprise with an online account if that helps.
Also my temporary fix is :
Rename brave.exe brave .exe
Symlink brave.exe to brave .exe
