Brave closes when I type é, è, ç or à in the search bar

Description of the issue: Brave closes when I type é, è, ç or à in the search bar, specifically in the search bar, I tried on other apps (LibreOffice) or on Youtube (so in Brave) and it works fine.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave

  2. Type either é, è, ç or à in the search bar

  3. Brave closes without warning

Expected result: I need to type these letters because I’m French, so such an issue is kind of annoying.

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.82.170

Additional Information: I’m on Linux, Ubuntu 24.04. My computer is brand new so I think the issue might come from there? It’s a Tuxedo InfinityBook Pro AMD Gen10. I hope I’m in the right place to find help.
