Brave crashes instantly after opening it I’m not sure how this happened, It worked the previous night but now it wont launch I have the latest version I have tried almost every troubleshooting method on here and nothing works.

a user on reddit said it fixed the issue by renaming the brave .exe file.

did u installed portable version of brave?b

Yes, I did and I uninstalled the actual version of Brave.

@Basically @Flamangi @ItsWasowski have you tried disabling hardware acceleration?

Still having the same issues as everybody else. This started happening yesterday after a new windows update had downloaded. I’ve tried every fix so far, nothing has been working. Chrome is the only browser that works for me, besides edge. I don’t even think firefox works. Edit: Gurantee it’s a win…
