Brave-BAT ads and reward mechanism

Hello,
since behavioural advertising is a hoax as proven by some research and only useful to enable surveillance capitalism, the Brave Ads model is very interesting.
I recently read that Brave Rewards allows optional display ads and shares 70% of the revenue with users while 30% goes to Brave [1]. Furthermore, I read that Brave Ads shares 70% of revenue with content creators, 15% with Brave and the remaining 15% with users [2]. This is very interesting and seems to be unique. Is this as real as it seems? Are there any interesting updates?
Finally, suppose an advertiser pays X dollars to Brave, how are these X dollars split between Brave Rewards and Brave Ads? 50:50? Does the advertiser or Brave decide?
Thank you

[1] Brave puts users first, and that means sharing any ad revenue we generate directly with users. 70% of the revenue Brave earns through these unobtrusive, privacy-preserving ads is shared directly back with users as Brave Rewards. Brave encourages users to share some of their earnings with website publishers and content creators, but there’s no requirement to do so.
[2] Publisher-integrated Ads will provide 70% of the revenue share to participating Verified publishers and content creators; 15% of the revenue share will go to users that view and engage with the Publisher-integrated Ads, and the remaining 15% of the revenue share will go to Brave.
