# Brave app is going slower than it was time ago

**Description of the issue:**  
After using Brave as my main browser for a long time I’ve seen that the browser is going slower and slower. Literally used for a moment Chrome and it was hugely faster having the same config. At this point, I think the best option for me is going back to Chrome. Time is gold. _Also I have this same feeling about the app on android…_

Slow performance can be caused by many different things. I would try to:

- Clearing your cache/browsing data: `Settings --> History --> Clear browsing history`
- Try disabling any extensions you have installed and see if performance improves.
