**Description of the issue:** Brave `151.1.93.129` (latest, after update) (and previous, maybe) crash immediately on attempt to open. On macOS 15.7.8 (24G824)

**How can this issue be reproduced?**

2. Observe crash
3. Read macOS crash report

I moved my whole profile out and it loads. I haven’t done further minimization.

I had manually enabled, sideloaded a few Manifest V2 (MV2) extensions, especially **BroTab**. It seemed like support came back for a week, and I haven’t checked the changelog to attempt to confirm the suspicion—hasn’t seemed worthwhile since it’s in Brave is fast following Chromium and only keeping support for a few MV2 extensions.

_I’m glad too that Violentmonkey extension shipped their MV3 branch, and I briefly mistook that for Brave support for the extension._

@mcint

### How do I manually submit crash reports?

NOTE: In a Brave Browser New Window, go to: `brave://settings/privacy` and _ENABLE_ `Automatically send diagnostic reports`

READ the guidance:

> [https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/22281484910221-How-do-I-manually-submit-crash-reports](https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/22281484910221-How-do-I-manually-submit-crash-reports)

After you click the “Send Now” button, return to `brave://crashes` and gather up the **Crash Report ID** numbers that end with a string of zeros. Post the numbers, here, in a new reply. Example of a Crash Report ID number:
