Description of the issue: Currently when you select Bookmarks you see two columns, on the left Folders on the right Bookmarks. How to show just bookmarks column (right side).
Not really, as Brave’s Bookmark Manager is straight from Chromium, simply re-skinned. Remember, Bookmarks are like a tree and have branches, so that “tree” on the left sort of must be shown for traversal purposes.
Such a feature could in theory be added, but it would make traversal so much harder when you have groups of bookmarks to move or copy from one branch to another without that tree.
So yea, it could be added, but being they are using the Chromium Bookmark Manager, this likely wouldn’t be implemented simply because so many people more do need that tree than those who don’t. (But, that’s why making it an option is always up for the possibility if enough people do wish to hide the tree. Just not sure if it would be worth the time and effort to implement though, you’d need enough people most likely who want it hidden as well.
However notice the problem right away? Which branch am I even in? “Other Bookmarks”, but you can’t actually tell. So yea without that sidebar, you don’t even get a hint as to where you are.
