Bookmarks are not syncing

Hi, I’m using Brave Sync to sync browser data between Windows and Mac, however bookmarks are not syncing to Mac.

In brave://sync-internals/ in the Type Info table, I see the following error:

Data Type Total Entries Live Entries Message State
Bookmarks 0 0 Error: Restart@components/sync/service/data_type_manager_impl.cc:499, model error was encountered: Preexisting controller error on configuration Failed

I’m using the most recent version of Brave at the time of writing: Brave 1.80.124 (Official Build) (arm64)

I would appreciate some help with solving this issue.

I get the same error (except that in my case the problem occurs between Android Phone and PC Windows) or

Error: ConnectIfReady@components\sync_bookmarks\bookmark_data_type_processor.cc:433, model error was encountered: ConnectIfReady@components\sync_bookmarks\bookmark_data_type_processor.cc:433 - Model error type: 68
