Bookmark save dialog shows no folders in Brave 1.96.59

Description of the issue: When saving a bookmark, the “Choose another folder” dialog shows no folders — only Other Bookmarks appears in the dropdown. My topic folders are visible in the bookmarks manager but not in the save dialog.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open any webpage
  2. Click the bookmark icon next to the address bar
  3. Click the folder dropdown, then “Choose another folder”

Actual result: The folder tree is empty — no folders listed.

Expected result: All bookmark folders should appear so I can pick one.

Reproduces how often: Every time.

Operating System and Brave Version: Windows 11, Brave 1.96.59 (Chromium 154.0.8037.58)
