Better Flavicon and strong password suggestions

The flavicons are blurry on the tool bar and home page. I know this is aesthetic but it needs to be improved. Also, the password suggestion needs to include symbols, lower case and upper case letters. I dont use the password manager on Brave for this reason. Thank you

I do not use Brave Browser’s Password Manager, but I agree with your notion.

BTW, you can edit the title of your Original Post, to change “Flavicon” to “Favicon” ← will help other members of the Brave Community doing searches.

I believe we’re working on better pw suggestions presently. Will try to dig up the issue. As for the blurry favicons – I actually do not see this. Top site tiles and icons on the bookmarks toolbar appear crisp for me:

Also, I previously had favicons not showing perfectly (particularly a version or two of Brave ago when experiencing that bug that switched Top Sites from Favourites to Frequently Visited, frequent favicons weren’t so good), but they’re fine now, I think it might have been after wiping everything and starting fresh due to this issue that fixed it (but that’s just an educated guess).

So with that 2 things for those having issues with favicons not being sharp:

  1. Make sure Brave is up to date
  2. Consider doing a clean sweep here:
    brave://settings/clearBrowserData
    IF you are OK with starting fresh.
