Asking me to connect an account? Why?

Description of the issue: I have opened a brave wallet but it is still asking me to connect an account.

Is the issue occurring on a specific network?

What operating system are you using? Android 15

Brave Version (check About Brave):

1.85.117

Additional Information:

I can access my self custody brave wallet no problem but my rewards still keeps saying:

‘You could be getting paid for the 1 Ad you’ve seen this month.

Ready to start earning?

Connect a payout account

Connect account’

So I press ‘connect account’ and do the same thing again, but there is no change. Is there something else which I need to do?

Thanks but I only have one account which was opened 2 days ago. I am trying to connect via android phone, not a computer.

I have experienced recently as well, I think. My mobile account was connected to the same wallet as my desktop account, recently my mobile account was disconnected without any prompt from me. I have tried connecting the same wallet multiple times by entering my account seed phrase, but after getting a message confirming the new connection, it reverts back to a disconnected state. I tried creating a new brave wallet to see if that would work, but I get the same result.

Not getting much in the way of answers regarding my problem. Is there any other place I can ask for technical help? Maybe a live chat or something similar.
