# Any way to have Brave play video files instead of download them?

Hey, is there any way to have Brave play a video file instead of download it? I’m already on page 4 for internet search results and no dice. I always end up having to drag the link to the address bar, copy the link, paste it in another app, etc. a real pain to avoid downloading the file

@Ball could you provide more details? I get the gist of what you’re saying but a lot of things are left unsaid. For example

- What search engine?

- Are you clicking on the search result to open the link or are you just trying to view the video without going directly to the content/site?

- Is this issue only happening on certain sources or for anything?

- Are you able to provide any screenshots or recordings of this issue to help provide better understanding?

- Does this also happen on Chrome?

- What version of Brave are you using?
