When closing a Tab an annoying Message “tab xy closed” shows at the bottom and hides important page details every time for a too long time!
![]()
How to deactivate this rubbish?
I am not far away from changing my browser.

I’m in the same boat. I just switched to Brave today - who thought this was a good idea? A browser that forces pop-ups onto your screen - which you can’t close or disable, and which cover up important UI and buttons on your screen? It literally defeats the point of a browser.
Looks like you can disable it from appearance/design settings, see the comment on this thread:
thx. i found this already by myself but i Open and close often tabs and this switching makes all text typing not suitable.
you can swish other messages away but not this ![]()
It would be nicer If there was an option UNDO close under the hamburger menu.
it IS really a mess!
