# Allow renaming tabs

As a Brave Origin user, I want to be able to rename tabs, so I can more easily work with multiple tabs of the same site or tool that share the same title tag (for example, Google Analytics).

You should use Tab groups for this. Make a group, then title it whatever you’d like, then move all relevant tabs into that group. Here you can see I’ve done this for Community and Github:

Thanks for the reply! I see tab groups as a separate use case, though. This is about renaming individual tabs. Many sites and tools I use for work don’t have descriptive titles, or the titles are long and get truncated, so renamed tabs would make Brave much easier to work with. Dia supports this, for example. I’d love to see it in Brave someday.
