AI button on the Brave Android widget opens Google Speech instead of Ask Brave

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Tap AI button in the widget. (Image 1)
  2. Brave opened
  3. Google Speech opened. (image 2)

Just tested this, when you press the AI button it opens your selected Voice to Text service on your phone (which Android always defaults to Google Voice to Text which IS what we see here).

That’s because the AI button asks you to speak your prompt when tapped just like that and Google Voice Typing needs permission to do that (Brave has no such engine, Android has usually always used Google for this unless you install an alternative Voice to Text “keyboard”).

Entirely normal and expected if Google Voice is your current VTT service.
