Whenever I use the brave app it sometimes won’t let me tap on the address bar after a while. It doesn’t tell you anything either.

Additional Information:
Unfortunately this isn’t a lot of information to go on.
- What specific Android device and Brave version are you using when you see this?
- How often would you say this specific issue occurs?
- When it does happen, how do you resolve it? Just relaunch the browser?
- Does the issue occur when you’re on a specific site(s) each time or does happen regardless of what site you’re on?
- Does it only happen in Private browsing?
I have a Samsung Galaxy A36 and I have Brave Version Brave 1.93.138.
I think this issue occurs about once a week.
When I get this error I get rid of the whole page entirely and relaunch the app.
It doesn’t matter which sites I go to. I get it where ever.
Whenever I stay in the regular page or private browsing it happens
Do you happen to have a particularly high number of open tabs and/or resource intensive tabs when you see this?
I usually have 4 tabs open on the main page.
@Mattches you gonna respond?
Honestly there isn’t a ton to go on here. If I understand correctly, you’re saying that sometimes the browser won’t let you tap the address bar, but it only happens ~once a week and you’re not sure how to reproduce it?
It will be hard to diagnose/troubleshoot this issue going off just that information. Can you update to the latest build (1.94.117) and confirm if you’re still getting the issue?
I actually got the untappable address bar glitch twice in one day so it just shows up whenever it feels like it I guess. Also the latest Brave version is 1.94.117 and I have it.
I got the can’t tap address bar bug today tho.
My phone updates automatically and it happens randomly no matter what though
I have a feeling this might be an issue with your Android device rather than the browser. Do you see this happening when using other browsers and/or apps?
I don’t know but whenever I get it I tap on the search (magnifying glass) icon at the bottom it works again.
