Add special characters to suggested password generator

As the title suggests please add special characters to the suggested strong password feature. It’s useless for most websites without.

+1 from me.

Like KeePassXC which a allows users to select multiple elements to create a desired password.


:a_button_blood_type: Alphabetic Characters

  • Lowercase Letters: a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, z

  • Uppercase Letters: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z

:1234: Numeric Characters

  • Digits: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

:warning: Special Characters

  • Common Special Characters: !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, ), -, _, =, +, {, }, [, ], |, , :, ;, ", ', <, >, , ., ?, /

:input_symbols: Extended Special Characters

  • Additional Symbols: Depending on the character set you choose, you may also include characters like:

    • Tilde: ~

    • Grave Accent: `

    • Section Sign: §

    • Currency Symbols: €, £, ¥, etc.

Also allow users to set exceptions (like some websites prevent use of “%” or “:” or “©” and so forth)

  • Length: You can specify the total length of the generated password (some websites allow password of upto 4096 digits of AlphaNumeric Password, so generate a password string of upto 4096 characters )

  • Avoid Ambiguous Characters: Option to exclude characters that can be easily confused, such as 0 (zero) and O (capital o).

  • Custom Character Sets: You can define your own set of characters to include in the password ( like ® ™ © × ¶ ∆ • ℅ )

  • Repeat Characters: Option to allow or disallow repeated characters in the password.

  • Pattern Generation: You can create passwords based on specific patterns, such as alternating character types.

Now include all these features, and you have a wholesome password generator/manager
