I have maybe 50 tabs open sometimes.. and they aint leavin’ any time soon!
A keyboard shortcut (e.g. cmd + down arrow + T ) for making a new tab below current one would be splendid..

Since you mentioned new tab “below” I’m assuming you’re using vertical tabs. If you go to Settings > System > Shortcuts and search for the New tab to the Right action, you can set this shortcut to whatever you’d like.
If you’re using horizontal tabs, the tab will open to the right of the currently selected tab. If you are using vertical tabs, it will open directly below the selected tab.
