Description of the issue:
I’d like to start out by saying that the issue isn’t when I directly click on a youtube video, because the message doesn’t show up and it works fine. The issue is persistent when I right click on a youtube video and click “open link in new tab”. Every time I’ve done that, the “Ad blockers Violate Youtube’s TOS” pops up, when I reload the page the message goes away, but it’s quite annoying to have it pop up every single time.
I’ve tried this on Chrome & Firefox to see if it’s brave or something with youtube, and the message does not appear on both of those applications when I replicate the steps above. I’ve then turned off Brave shields and the message goes away, but ads pop up.
I’ve been thinking about reinstalling Brave again but I’m not sure it will work. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
I’m on the most up-to-date version of Brave, v.1.80.120
